Samsung Electronics Introduces New Era of Micro LED Technology at ISE 2022 – Samsung India Newsroom

The Wall 2022 series offers incredible technology innovations, including the screen with the lowest pixel pitch ever

The Samsung Electronics Micro LED Technology showcased the future of Micro LED technology at the Integrated European Systems Exhibition (ISE) 2022 in Barcelona with three new models of its latest LED technology, The Wall.

Micro LED technology will define the future of display innovation. From the luxury industry to the hospitality and travel sectors, the potential of Micro LED is endless to enable businesses to achieve more. “ISE is the largest exhibition of its kind in the world and we are excited to launch our expanded portfolio of The Wall. The Wall’s state-of-the-art technology will deliver benefits that exceed expectations, transforming any business and opening up new opportunities.”

The Wall 2022: Introducing the smallest pixel distance ever

At this year’s ISE, Samsung showcased its 2022 lineup of The Wall (model name: IWB), an innovative modular Micro LED display that delivers immersive viewing experiences in a large-screen, high-resolution format. The IWB range will be available in tones of 0.63 and 0.94 pixels, with 0.63 being the lowest pixel pitch ever in The Wall’s range. The new screen is now available for pre-order worldwide.

Partial pitch IWB feature Samsung’s most detailed dynamic range and imaging expansion with 120Hz frame rate¹, HDR10/10+ and HDR LED. After installation, The Wall offers a variety of screen sizes, support for 4K movies for a 110-inch panel and amazing quality up to 8K for a 220-inch panel to meet any consumer or business need. This resolving ability is enhanced by the powerful Micro AI (Artificial Intelligence) processor, which analyzes every second of content instantly and improves image quality² while removing noise.

The case has been increased in size, allowing businesses and consumers to install just four cases to form a UHD display, which means faster and more cost-effective operation. The improved cabinet improves mechanical quality for an immersive view while improving joint fit. In fact, the installation time is reduced, which provides significant advantages for businesses over traditional LED displays.

The wall screen also features many industry-leading technologies. First, with Multi View³, The Wall allows simultaneous operation multi-source (Multiple Lines) With up to four lines, all on one screen, without the need for additional dividers to display dynamic content. Second, the screen’s built-in Black Seal technology creates a perfect display of the purest black levels, with an anti-glare film applied to reduce reflection from outside light. In addition, with 20-bit processing, The Wall provides excellent image quality and a smooth viewing experience, backed by a brightness of up to 2000 nits, delivering clearer images.

The Wall All-in-One: Innovative and Convenient Installation

Also revealed in Barcelona this year, the Wall All-in-One (model name: IAB) is available in three different models: a 146-inch 4K panel, a 146-inch 2K panel, and a 110-inch 2K panel. This stunning next-generation display brings innovation to the installation and viewing experience. The default resolution for the All-in-One Wall Mount is 16:9 format. The product, which is sold in three sizes, will be available worldwide after ISE 2022.

The most innovative feature of the All-in-One Wall is the convenient installation that features a pre-adjusted hinge and a “pre-assembled mounting kit”. This kit, which makes the whole installation process as simple as a consumer TV, includes a 16:9 aspect ratio screen trim frame and a built-in S-box media player, which also lowers the overall installation cost.

The Wall All-in-One offers a sleek design with a thin screen measuring just 49mm, which measures 59mm in overall installation when measured from wall to screen⁴. This slim, infinity-edge design provides a direct input connection to the monitor without the need for a separate device – creating a simple and convenient architecture.

In addition, along with 20-bit processing, Black Seal technology and a Micro AI processor, two 146-inch 4K displays can be installed side by side to create a screen with an aspect ratio of 32:9, creating an entire wall with excellent picture quality.

A variety of screens adapted to the new era: from an electric car charging station to a hybrid classroom

Besides the state-of-the-art Micro LED technology, Samsung has introduced several new products at ISE that will meet the ever-evolving needs of this new era. The new range is an example of Samsung’s continued innovation in creating solutions that include contactless communications and enhanced security features.

Samsung’s latest 2022 Outdoor Kit (Model Name: OHA 55″, 75″) outdoor vision has been tested by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), while the slim mount allows for easy installation and long-lasting performance with IP56 certified protection.. With its powerful, high-performance hardware, OHA can operate in a variety of environments. An example of use is electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, the demand for which is growing as sales of electric vehicles continue to grow worldwide.

In education, Samsung continues to provide blended learning experiences through its innovative products and solutions. The Samsung Flip Pro 2022 (model name: WMB), available in two large 75-inch and 85-inch models, is an interactive whiteboard that can provide teachers and students with enhanced usability and specialized features to meet ever-changing educational needs. .

The newly added USB Type-C connectivity of the Samsung Flip Pro offers built-in power and video control (65W charging), while industry-leading multi-touch capabilities and touch response time enable simultaneous collaboration of up to 20 people⁶. An intuitive control panel, brightness control sensors, and four newly added front and rear speakers improve the overall classroom experience and enable seamless video communication in a remote or hybrid classroom environment. Finally, with SmartView+, up to 50 monitor devices can be connected wirelessly at the same time, as well as multi-display on up to four screens, ideal for large meeting rooms and digital classrooms. The technology runs seamlessly in the background, making the product easy to use for teachers and students alike.
