Front End Month discusses the job market and careers for technology professionals

The IT market has grown exponentially in recent years. More and more professionals are being sought in this sector to perform the most diverse jobs. Thinking of contributing to the development of new professionals, Zappts, a company that develops digital solutions for major brands, is holding its “Front End Month”, May 12, 19, 27 and 30.

The initiative, which is free for all, aims to highlight the importance of front-end developers and professionals responsible for creating interfaces for digital products such as websites, portals and web applications, for example. It is these professionals who assemble the structure of the pages, in which users interact, and take care of the flow of navigation between them.

These professionals are in great demand in the labor market, as they are responsible for building the entire technological architecture of digitally consumed products, tools and services. According to the Association of Information, Communications and Digital Technology Companies (Brascom), the country is expected to have a demand of about 800,000 IT professionals by 2025 – or 160,000 new vacancies annually for programmers and developers.

The market has been very hot, especially in the last two and a half years. With the onset of the pandemic, companies are becoming more aware of the importance of IT professionals to their companies,” explains Thauany Moedano, Chief Development Officer at Zappts.

The event will see the participation of professionals integrating the enterprise’s technology domains, including Andre Gomes, Senior Backend Developer, Vinicius Geddes, Senior Developer React Native, Claudio Castro, Full Front End Developer, Maximiller Arroca and Victor Marino, both senior front end developers.

In addition, external guests will participate in trainings and lectures on topics related to the software developer profession, the most used tools in the market, as well as share their professional experiences.

An environmental design system will be discussed, which is a set of patterns of design components developed in order to maintain the visual and functional consistency of a particular product, system or organization. An example to explain a design system is the game Tetris, where a set of standard pieces follow the same design symmetry and each piece can be considered a component.

The second meeting training topic of the month will be Network planning: When do we use it and why does it help us respond? CSS grid allows developers to create layouts for different features in two dimensions (rows and columns) and the intersection of these elements forms a grid, which gives the name to this system (grid). Grids can be used to design layouts for large sections of a web page, as well as small interface elements and many different layouts.

  • Friday, May 27 at 12 noon.

The third meeting training of the month will focus on the discussion: Application of the concept of microservices in front-end development. Microfrontends is a technology that emerged to deal with the complexity of large front-end projects, where the system itself can integrate different front-end technologies (Angular, AngularJS, React, Vue, etc.), while maintaining implementation and maintenance independently. It is the concept of separating a front end application into several smaller layers, each one responsible for a specific application unit.

  • Monday, May 30 at 12 noon.

The fourth and final meeting of May: “front end profession The month’s agenda closes with a discussion of the challenges and opportunities in the “front-end” developers’ journey.
