Seven million to study Homo sapiens and black holes and discover other Earth

The European Research Council (ERC) has allocated nearly seven million euros (6.9) to three projects by Portuguese researchers. Nuno Cardoso Santos, a researcher at the Institute of Astrophysics and Space Sciences (IA) and head of the FIERCE project, intends to analyze the cause of stellar noise and “pave the way” for the discovery of other planets in the universe. Nuno Bicho, from the University of Algarve, will, through the Dispersals Project, investigate the dynamics of the first migrations from sane man. Vitor Cardoso, from Técnico de Lisboa, proposes exploring and discovering the potential of black holes, within the scope of the Gravitas project.
